Selective Entry

The Selective Entry High Schools exam decides Year 9 places at Melbourne High, Mac.Robertson Girls', Nossal and Suzanne Cory. ACER sets it, and students sit it in Year 8: a mathematics and quantitative reasoning paper, a reading and verbal reasoning paper, and two pieces of writing.

Two multiple-choice papers and a writing paper, at Year 8 level. Each paper here is timed like the real one, and every question is explained afterwards.
