Tips

Getting ready for Grade 3

  • Practice reading the question to yourself. Before Grade 3, a teacher reads most CogAT questions aloud.
  • Ten minutes a part goes fast. Sit one battery in one go, so 30 minutes of focus feels normal.
  • Paper folding is new to most children. Try a few with real paper and a hole punch first.
