How to fill in the sheet
- Darken the whole circle of the one answer you choose.
- Fill in your details exactly as your school gives them.
- The last questions are the hardest. Do not spend so long on one that you run out of time.
- Keep your place: check every few questions that the question number on the sheet matches the paper.
Questions parents ask
- How many questions are in an SOF olympiad?
- Classes 1 to 4 answer 35 questions for 40 marks and Class 5 and up answer 50 for 60 marks, in 60 minutes. The last five, the Achievers section, carry more marks each.
- Is there negative marking?
- No. So it is worth answering every question.
- Is this the real olympiad OMR sheet?
- No. It is our own practice sheet with the same number of questions and choices. We are not connected with the Science Olympiad Foundation.
