Questions parents ask

How many questions are in the JNVST Class 6 test?
80 questions for 100 marks in two hours: 20 Mental Ability and 20 EVS questions (60 minutes), 20 Arithmetic (30 minutes) and 20 Language (30 minutes). Each correct answer gets 1.25 marks.
Is there negative marking?
No. A wrong or blank answer scores zero, so it is worth answering every question.
What are the qualifying marks?
14 marks in Mental Ability and EVS, 7 in Arithmetic and 7 in Language. A child must reach all three. When you check this sheet against an answer key, it shows each section's marks next to its qualifying mark.
Is this the real Navodaya OMR sheet?
No. It is our own practice sheet with the same number of questions, choices and sections. The real sheet's design is different, and NVS publishes a specimen with the prospectus.
